One of the hardest truths in this industry is that sometimes, no matter how much love and effort we pour into a wedding, we won’t always meet every expectation. As planners, we aim for excellence—but we are also human, working in moments filled with high emotions and pressure.
A few months back, I experienced this with a bride who, despite our dedication and constant adjustments, continued to push back. It’s painful, especially when you care so much about creating joy for someone else’s big day. Words can be heavy, and in an industry built on trust, harsh comments or defamation can leave deep marks.
But here’s where I find my peace: my faith reminds me that it’s not about being perfect—it’s about showing up with integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart. God teaches us to forgive, to release the weight of resentment, and to trust that truth has a way of surfacing.
I choose to forgive myself for not being able to deliver perfection. I choose to forgive others, understanding that stress often speaks louder than gratitude. And I choose to keep walking forward in grace, knowing that LOVE is the reason I am called to this work.
To those reading: in any story, there are always two sides. Before judgment, seek understanding. Before criticism, choose compassion. And above all, remember that even in the hardest moments, peace is possible when we let love lead the way.

Perfection is not our promise, but integrity, care, and faith will always guide our service.
